I love to see these bright sunshiny flowers blooming all through the lawn and open fields early in the spring. The dandelion (taraxacum officinale) flowers are one of the first foods available for the bees in our area. This extract is made with fresh whole plants from my yard and garden. I dig them when they are in full bloom and lush. What many folks consider a bother is actually a very helpful herb, and it is so abundant. All a parts of dandelion are edible, I like to add the pretty blossoms and bitter leaves to spring salads.
